Makeup Setting Spray

Until recently I had spent my whole makeup-wearing life with never trying a setting spray and now I’m wondering how I ever lived without it! Makeup Setting Spray maximizes the longevity of your makeup, and can be used as a primer or over your makeup. A.K.A This is a big summer must, especially if you’re spending a lot of time outside and in the heat.

Pressed Powder

Summertime calls for a lightweight foundation anything that helps control shine and isn’t heavy enough to cause breakouts is exactly what this girl needs!

Brow Treatment

My latest makeup obsession is NYX Tinted Brow Mascara! I have very thin, very blonde-white eyebrows, so trying to pencil or “fill in” some color does not work for me! All you do is comb your brows, then swipe a few layers of mascara across the hairs while following your arch! I have also kept this on during intense workouts and high heat days and it hasn’t sweated off! 🙂

Lip Crayons

I have a slight lipstick obsession as many of you know, and I never really ventured into the fabulous world of lip crayons, because I wasn’t sure I could get the bold intensity and longevity that I usually get from a lipstick tube. I shopped Ulta’s Beauty Collection section last week during their summer event, and figured for $3 ($8 reg. priced) I would give their lip crayon’s a try. Let me be the first to tell you that they are awesome.Needless to say, I had to go back in the following day & buy 4 more colors 😉

What I Love: They are long-lasting, they do not crack and fuzz over the edge of your lips like most lip crayons I have tried, and the colors are super rich & moisturizing.

Waterproof Mascara (duh!)

I usually wear waterproof all year round, since let’s face it, I’m a sap who cries watching just about any movie, or listening to music that moves me, so it’s safe to say that it’s had to become a daily ritual. It can be a pain to take off, but you’ll be glad you’re wearing it at a pool party or your best friend’s wedding! Try Yes to Cucumbers Hypoallergenic Facial Towelettes for a wipe that get’s the job done but doesn’t feel like you’re tearing your eyelashes out.

Tip of the Summer

I am a big believer & lover of winged liner and they are my go to all year except during the summer…go linerless with me! It’s too warm to be worried about eyeliner smudging or melting off your eyelid. Summer is the time where less is more, and it’s pretty refreshing! ❤

I am LOVING this edgy necklace from my Rocksbox this July. Use code LARISSABFF24 for your first month free! ❤

  1. I don’t get the difference between lip crayons and lipsticks? & I also need to invest in some setting spray! My eye makeup is always the first to run down my face because of my glasses, haha. Great post by the way. I really like your blog and followed you on Pinterest 🙂

    • Thank You so much for the follows! 🙂 Nyx has a really great setting spray, but I usually buy the Ulta brand one which is equally great and they run sales on it all the time! Now not always, but lip crayons tend to have better longevity than lipsticks because they are also usually more of a tint than thick like lipstick, and they are moisturizing. The biggest difference is the application, which is usually why I prefer lip crayons. Like I said, it differs between brands and that isn’t always the case. You just gotta try both and find which one suits your fancy 🙂
