My day-to-day style is definitely something different each time. When it’s finally the weekend, I like to spend mine downtown with friends, visiting family for a porch brunch, exploring new Springfield-favorites (hello over 150 coffee shops in just the Springfield area-we have a java addiction, Ozarkians! 😉

Since I work in retail, run a blog, and do a handful of varying tasks each week, my “weekend” is anytime I get to spend time with my hubby(this often includes me embarrassing him from my too-loud-for-public-places laugh from whatever goofy story he has for me), listening to live music on the square, spending some time with my head in my latest devotional read, enjoying the Ozarks on a hike with Nate, playing T Swift on repeat, or dreaming up the next phase in my career.

Your weekend may involve chasing 3 kids around on Sunday morning before church, or chilling at home with some hot cocoa & the latest episode of Scandal on Hulu(guilty!), or attending a plethora of seemingly-endless events and tasks. Whatever your weekend looks like; busy, chill, or is-it-already-Monday, you should feel comfortable, put together, and confident in your style! Check out my no-fuss look, and hopefully you’ll be inspired to embrace your weekend, whatever it brings.

Cheers, Lovelies ❤

The Details:

Jewelry- Midi rings(and skirts!) are my favorite trend from the past year(and they seem to be here to stay!) Who knew one day I would no longer have to pass up on that cute ring set on sale because it was 2 sizes too small, I can just wear it midway on my fingers!jhu

Keeping with the white on white trend, layer bangles of different sizes then a stand out bracelet for a personalized look! (featured here are white & gold bangles from Aldo and seasonal Elephant Charm Bracelet from Ann Taylor’s St.Jude Collection.

Polish– I love a good color block scheme on my nails! Step out of your usual french mani with 1 color for all nails but one(fun, right?) I chose a coral pink for the repeated color, and a fun pop of apple green for the single color

Hat- The lace covering this fedora from Charlotte Russe has my girly taste written all over it! Feminine details and materials like lace add that bit of detail and personality to an item that really take that sometimes-boyish shape and pump it up to compliment my look.

Denim: I snagged these fun mint denim on the $9.88 sale rack at Ann Taylor a year ago, and have had great wear out of them! I distressed them myself, and have dressed them up with a silky blouse and nude pumps, and worn them with a basic tee and comfy loafers.jhu

Find an inexpensive pair of denim or dig out that pair in your closet that have a stain on them that can’t be removed but you aren’t willing to part with, and cut small even lines about .5 inches from each other, pull the threads, and toss them in the wash.

Viola!
